This knife was the first puukko I've made, and honestly the first real knife (before this everything was just mild steel "toys"). The "customer" was my father, the man I owe everything to. I hope he enjoys it.
Pattern welded swords? Twisted layers of steel and iron, welded together into beautiful swirling eddies that are worthy to be hilted in only the most precious metals? Sadly, no. I'm not at that level yet. For the mean time, I make more utilitarian items. Some are blades, some are not. Below is a selection of some non-bladed items I've made. A few nails and a header, a few firesteels, a silver Saami style bracelet, and some tablet woven bands. One day I'll be able to show you beautiful pattern welded swords and seaxes, but for now, this type of stuff will have to do.
